Our Mission Statement is Isaiah 61 “to proclaim liberty to the captive,” to teach them that although they may be in prison, prison doesn’t have to be in them.
 
We believe that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and yes, forever. We believe in being led by the Holy Spirit. We believe that the most important gift is the one needed at that very moment. We are a ministry that welcomes all denominations as long as they share the greatest gift of all: the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. We are a ministry fulfilling God’s word as we walk cell-to-cell even unto the least of them, sharing the good news of our Lord and Savior. We are a ministry built on faith according to the four powerful words in Mark 11:20, “Have faith in God.”
 
We the Mike Barber Ministries would be honored to have you come and experience the joy that we experience every time we enter a unit. We have been a faith ministry for the past 22 years since my retirement from 10 years in the NFL. 3 years ago our son, Brandon, formed Faze 2, a MBM ministry that reaches out to incarcerated youth. Day in and day out, we stand on the promises of God that He will supply our every need, knowing that our congregation cannot support our faith-based ministry. In God we trust!
